October 10th, 2025

Well, October’s reminding us who’s boss.

After a hard push last week to get crops off ahead of the rain, the clouds rolled in and hit us with a good soaking — around 30 mm in the St. Jean area and closer to 50 mm near Brunkild. Most of the valley forced into a stand still for the majority of the week.

The good news? Most crops are in the bin, aside from some soybeans and corn still standing strong. The rain will slow things down for a bit. Cooler temps have moved in too, giving things a real fall feel — whether we’re ready for it or not.

That’s it for this week. Stay safe, stay dry, and here’s hoping for a few sunny, breezy days to get those last acres wrapped up.

Have a great weekend,

Bru, Jenn and Antara Agronomy team!
