April is here! Are you ready for it?

If you’re like most of the farmers we’ve been talking to, the answer is probably: Not quite! Spring always seems to show up faster than expected, and this year is no different. With equipment to prep, plans to finalize, and the weather keeping us all on our toes, an extra few weeks wouldn’t hurt.

That being said, the longer days and extra sunshine are a welcome change. Before we know it, we’ll be in the full swing of the season. Until then, we’ll keep watching the forecast, checking things off the to-do list, and making the most of these last few days or weeks before the real rush begins.

Throwback to our 2024

UAN Top-dress Pre-bolt in Canola Trial!

Last season, we tested the impact of a UAN top-dress applied pre-bolt in canola, and the results spoke for themselves! Our on-farm research showed a statistically significant increase in canola yield when UAN was applied at this stage.

Building on these insights, we’re excited to continue this research in 2025 with three growers implementing this trial on their farms! Stay tuned as we track the results throughout the season!
