Michelle had some "fun" with TikTok this week, receiving a warning for promoting illegal items. "Weeds"... not "Weed"... Honestly, it feels like waterhemp should be illegal! 😂

Canola On-Farm Trial results have been intriguing. We have a video on it below ⬇️ Not all canola is created equal
We had a few interesting video calls looking at new weed ID, mapping and control options. Stay tuned, more to come in future issues.
Cereals are mostly wrapped up and the canola harvest is well under way
Compiling cereal yields for our Insights Benchmarking Program. It will be interesting to see correlations between yields, varieties and nitrogen levels.
Old technology becomes new again! We had the opportunity to check out a wick weeder in action this fall. Results look very promising for certain crops and weed problems.
Top 5 - Next Week
Lots of verticillium stripe and blackleg in the canola. Samples can be collected and sent to the lab for positive ID if you are unsure.
Keep planning your fall weed control. Lots of growing season left and ok moisture should make for excellent control opportunities.
STOP putting weed patches through your combine if there is no crop to harvest. Cut around them and burn or disk them in. Don't spread the patch. Even better, disk or mow them before they set seed.
Some soybean and dry bean fields are getting close to maturity. Line up your pre-harvest applications
