How did we go from “happy summer” to “holy crap, it’s NOVEMBER?” If you’re anything like me, you’re staring down a to-do list longer than your kids "I want" list, and feeling the holiday panic setting in. Christmas shopping? I barely got up my Halloween decorations! My yard is sitting there, looking like it lost a fight with a snowstorm that hasn’t even shown up yet. And don’t even get me started on kids’ sports season—between the endless practices and games, I’m juggling meals on the go like a caffeinated circus performer! But I love it. If you’re feeling this chaotic ride, let’s raise a glass (or a granola bar found between the truck seats) and laugh our way through the impending holiday insanity?
Have a great week!
Michelle

The calendar for winter meetings is already starting to fill up! Make sure you don't miss this year's edition of St Jean Farn Days which is scheduled to run the 8th and 9th of January, 2025.
There are alot of factors that go into choosing the right varieties. Maturity ratings, yield potential disease and herbicide tolerance packages. With the rise in herbicide resistance make sure you are choosing the right options for your farm. Its good to plan out potential herbicide rotations over a number of years.
As you are putting equipment away for winter make sure you download any yield or application maps you may need before it gets too cold.
Possibility of rain in the forecast for next week, Sunday/Monday.
This will be the last of the data we have collected for the season until spring.
