Annual weeds have run their course and are dying off with last weeks frost. Perennials are still actively growing and may warrant control ahead of next season.
This spring, flea beetles were a problem on fields with canola volunteers. The difference from one side of the road to another was SIGNIFICANT… Canola can overwinter with the right conditions. Control your volunteers.
Remember when I said there was an abnormal amount of empty wheat heads prior to harvest? Record numbers of Hessian Flies were caught in traps in North East North Dakota this fall. Hessian flies feed on wheat stems. These files may pose a problem for 2025 but there are control measures available. READ MORE HERE!
